Are Piles operations painful and troublesome ?
In the past surgery for piles was dreaded as painful and troublesome. But today there are minimally invasive methods which leave little injury to the tissues resulting in surprisingly less pain. Protocols like hot hip baths have replaced painful dressings resulting in a great relief for the patient. Most cases are discharged from the hospital earlier than before (usually 1-2 days stay).
